Allen Oh, J.D., B.S.E. (EE)
Allen is a patent attorney in our Minneapolis office. His practice is focused on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the United States and directing the prosecution of foreign patent applications in key international technology markets. He partners with his clients in integrating intellectual property into a broader business strategy by advising on patent portfolio management and analysis, patent prosecution, infringement, freedom to operate, and invalidity. Allen also provides advice in due diligence investigations involving related business transactions.
Allen’s clients range from individual inventors and start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. They innovate in diverse fields, including wireless communications, networking, video coding, computer hardware and software, medical devices, semiconductors, automotive technologies, and manufacturing processes.
Allen received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was an associate editor for the Journal of International Business Law. Allen also holds a B.S.E. (summa cum laude) in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan with a focus in electrical bioscience.
